Building Bridges at Amp Up

I had the opportunity to partner with the City of Charlotte’s Amp Up Program, an incredible initiative that empowers diverse small business owners and entrepreneurs by providing them with the resources and connections they need to thrive. They invited me to capture their mixer and networking event at Optimist Hall in Uptown Charlotte, and the night couldn’t have been more inspiring.The atmosphere was electric—filled with laughter, handshakes, and genuine conversations as entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community members came together under one roof. With Optimist Hall’s vibrant backdrop, every moment felt alive with possibility, from candid smiles shared between new connections to the proud energy of people building their dreams.For me, it was more than just photographing an event—it was about documenting the spirit of Charlotte’s entrepreneurial community. The Amp Up Program is helping shape the city’s future by elevating local talent, and it was an honor to be behind the lens capturing a night that celebrated growth, opportunity, and community.
