I had the chance to step into the world of imagination with a photoshoot in Uptown Charlotte, where creativity lit up the night just as much as the city skyline. My models were a talented group of four cosplayers who brought to life characters from Mystic Messenger and Genshin Impact, two fandoms known for their rich storytelling and vibrant designs.What made this shoot so exciting wasn’t just the costumes—it was the way each cosplayer embodied their character with passion and personality. From the playful energy of Mystic Messenger’s cast to the elegance and fantasy of Genshin Impact’s heroes, every pose told a story. With Charlotte’s lights and city architecture as the backdrop, the photos came alive, blending urban energy with the magic of cosplay.Cosplay shoots like this are some of my favorites because they’re more than just portraits—they’re mini adventures. Each moment behind the lens is a mix of art, performance, and storytelling, and this group brought all three to life beautifully.
